King of Malaysia Muhammad V and Oksana Voevodina, Alexander Ovechkin and Nastasia Shubskaya, Kurban Omarov and Ksenia Borodina entrusted us their weddings and love stories. Out of all the videographers they could have chosen, they chose us. And it’s inspiring.
I’ve been working in the film and wedding industry for 7 years now. Over the years we’ve become stronger: the skills of our videographers and editors are constantly growing. But one thing remains the same: the fact that we cherish every single one of our clients as if they were our very first: I tend to watch meticulously every project before it is given to our clients. I worry about the quality because these moments for our couples will never happen again. And it’s so important to save them and turn into lasting memories.
The thing I love the most about my work is giving people positive emotions. And, of course, words of gratitude and admiration from our brides. That’s what you quickly get into (laughs). It doesn’t sound modest, but all our couples are deliriously happy with the results. Thank them very much for that!
“I’ve been interested in video production since high school. I always had a camera, and I started out almost like Quentin Tarantino. He fell in love with movies and shooting when he was working at the video store. And my father had his own video store in the 90’s, so I learnt and watched a lot about movies, liked to rewatch several times the scenes he liked, studied how to make shot composition. That’s how I got my passion for beautiful images.
I studied editing in the same way as Robert Rodriguez: he filmed his relatives and edited videos on VHS recorders. I also filmed videos with my friends and did the editing on VHS. It was very difficult! You can’t make a mistake there, you can’t rewind it. One mistake – and start over, not like on a computer now. I always liked experimenting with video.
I shot my first commercial wedding in 2007, which means I have been working in the industry for 13 years for now. At work I like capturing reality most of all. I’m in favor of such approach: a wedding videographer must be everywhere like a ninja who can’t be seen or heard, but who can catch an emotion at the right time, in the right place.
I love weddings that are made with genuine emotions. People themselves fill in the video with sincere feelings, just letting the situation go, and “living” every single moment, and then everything turns out cool. I’m crazy about that!”
